Cohere is seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to drive growth in the Middle East. As our Country Manager for the UAE, you will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy, driving year-over-year revenue growth and market expansion.

This leadership role involves cultivating and guiding our Sales team to surpass revenue targets and organizational goals. You will assume coordination of our anchor partnership in the country, working alongside our global account team.

You will also provide sales and operational leadership to Cohere's cross-functional teams, collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.

In this role, you will be pivotal in promoting the company's vision, products, and services as the primary representative of Cohere in the local market. This includes representing at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, and with regulators and government agencies.

Your expertise in AI or a related industry will be highly valuable in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating and closing high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the region
