Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Office professional to join our team at Centro Hotels by Rotana. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Professional Service: Offer consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Welcome and check-in guests, taking into account established standards and procedures, and ensure a smooth check-out process.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Sell rooms to walk-in guests and be responsible for all proactive and day-to-day facilities issues, ensuring maximum revenue generation.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory: Manage cash inventory, cash cheques, and bills of exchange in foreign currencies for hotel guests in accordance with the credit policy.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperate with colleagues from all departments, including Housekeeping, Finance, and Reservation, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Guest Confidentiality: Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details are disclosed.
  • Knowledge and Competencies: Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel's policies and procedures, service standards, and hotel facilities and happenings.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: A degree in hospitality with previous experience in the Front Office Department within a hotel.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and knowledge of an additional language.
  • Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Literacy: Being computer literate and having previous experience with Opera are advantages.
