Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. **In this role, you will**:

- Manage the strategic planning of Value Stream Investment Plan (VSIP) and IT programs across EMEA (c.$70m), including the annual (FRP) and quarterly (QBR) VSIP planning process in alignment with VSIP prioritization, approvals, and governance.
- Monitor Value Stream (VS) delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks.
- Deliver frequent management reporting to Head of WPB, EMEA and Global WPB Transformation teams on VSIP portfolio health, interlocks and forecast accuracy.
- Management and coordination of governance papers and submissions to relevant forums (e.g OpCo).
- Collaborate with transformation teams on developing, planning, and delivering of capabilities across markets in partnership with VS leads.
- Provide insight on optimizing the VSIP portfolio to maximize the investment in strategic change agenda
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal stakeholder engagement efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:
**Knowledge / Experience**
- Bachelor Degree is mandatory for UAE Visa and Work Permit
- Outstanding knowledge of programme and portfolio management in the context of driving large-scale, complex regional change initiatives in large organisations.
- Understanding of the delivery framework within HSBC - global mindset and understanding of delivery partners.
- Expert in change methodologies including significant experience in Agile roles.
- Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigor
- Demonstration of commerciality with strong financial acumen
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with stakeholders and influencing them.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels.
- Very strong knowledge of the external environment across EMEA - regulatory, political, competitors, etc.
- Deep understanding of retail banking in the context of client onboarding & relationship management, product management, value streams, digital, risk management, finance, fraud, and credit control services
