Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

**In this role, you will**:

- As a member of the MENAT Investments Team, the jobholder will be responsible for supporting the development and distribution of Investments Products for WPB through following core activities:

- Support in development of product, pricing and marketing strategy, including a coherent offering of investment products (Structured Products, Fixed Income, Managed Solutions, Mutual Funds and Discretionary Wealth Management Services) to be able to fulfil customer needs and increase Bank’s market share as well as AUM
- Lead alignment of the Investments Proposition for WPB in MENA Region with group best practices
- Key focus on developing the Brokerage business with the implementation of a digital platform for Investments and addition of Equities, Passive Funds and other Investment Products relevant to the region
- Engagement and mobilization of key stakeholders across business and functions in order to deliver investment plan.
- Investments proposition of WPB is expected to grow at a significant pace and role holder is expected to be capable of being a crucial member of the present and growing business unit.
- Success of the business will involve ability to identify and execute appropriate product strategies to enable rapid growth.
Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:
**Knowledge / Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree is must to obtain visa in UAE
- The jobholder should have 5-8 years of working experience, of which a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in product development, sales or marketing in Wealth products with leading retail banks, private banks, treasury or fund houses. CFA qualification will be advantageous.
- In addition to above
- Experience in coordinating investment products activities/sales/training/IT/financial planning in the Wealth business
- Evidence of strong results orientation and performance management success.
- Experience in both developing and developed markets.
- Proven track record in working in multi-function projects.
- Experience of identifying and successfully integrating product manufacturing

**Skills & Abilities**
- Product Knowledge of Structured Products, Bonds, Equities, Fund of Funds, and Discretionary are preferable to perform this role.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Culturally sensitive and understanding of local customer needs
- Able to take significant responsibilities in sales process, legal, compliance and system related issues.
- Work closely with the respective country to develop, penetrate and distribute investment products to retail customers.
- Work closely with all in-house manufactures and Third Parties for product development and delivery.
- Strong leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark.
- Able to make tough decisions.
- Able to operate effectively in a complex matrix driven environment.
- Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner.
- A proven track record in investment sales preferable.
