About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Large Enterprise market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through contract expansion, introducing new services and products to our existing client base.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with C-level executives and their teams, identifying opportunities to impact their most critical priorities.
  • Account Management: Drive account retention and growth by leveraging Gartner's value proposition and demonstrating our expertise in the market.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, events, and proactive prospecting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, regions, and departments to share best practices and ensure a best-in-class approach to strategic initiatives and growth plans.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant sales experience, with at least 2 years in a tech/IT environment. Direct sales experience within a software vendor, system integrator, IT consultancy & services, or a similar environment is highly relevant for this role.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of consistent (over)achievement on sales goals and targets, with experience selling to senior leaders, preferably CxOs.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree is desirable.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  • Sales Methodology: Experience using Challenger Sales or a similar sales method is a plus.
