Operational Requirements

This role requires the ability to work effectively in the Sales Department, maximizing sales performance and ensuring compliance with Accor minimum standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • To be actively involved in the Sales Department, driving sales growth and increasing revenue.
  • To ensure compliance with Accor minimum standards, maintaining high levels of service and quality.
  • To conduct sales calls to existing and prospective leisure/corporate accounts, as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • To maintain all sales activities and account information in the Sales Database.
  • To work closely with the Sales Team to prepare and action the monthly sales activities plan.
  • To entertain qualified clients within the hotel F&B Outlets.
  • To attend and assist in the coordination of hotel functions, as requested by the Director of Sales.
  • To prepare monthly reports for the Director of Sales, providing timely and accurate sales data.
  • To investigate and assess market conditions and competition, determining effective sales strategies and programs.
  • To establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers, driving sales growth and increasing revenue.
  • To update and upgrade knowledge and awareness of special events, conventions, business meetings, and other opportunities in the market, which would help for the sales of the facilities provided.
  • To design and execute sales plans and strategies for assigned segments, responsible for increasing sales and revenue.
  • To plan and initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the organization.
  • To bring any matters affecting the interests of the hotel to the attention of Management.
  • To assist the team in the development of the Strategic Sales Plan for the segments.
  • To ensure achievement of objectives established in the Organization's Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

This role requires a strong profile, knowledge, and experience in the field of Sales and Marketing. Key qualifications include:

  • Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or Events Management.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hotel industry.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Competencies

This role requires strong communication and customer contact skills, as well as a service-oriented approach. Key competencies include:
