About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Junior Business Development Manager to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and contributing to our overall business development strategy. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in business development and a deep understanding of cloud computing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Revenue Growth and Customer Experience: Take ownership of revenue and customer experience on Alibaba Cloud, acting as a business owner to drive growth and satisfaction.
  2. Potential Client Identification: Identify and qualify potential clients in various industries, leveraging your expertise to understand their needs and opportunities.
  3. Sales Pipeline Development: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales growth, working closely with our sales team to drive results.
  4. Client Engagement and Presentations: Lead client meetings and presentations to promote Alibaba Cloud services and solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition to clients.
  5. Deal Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets, working collaboratively with our sales and customer success teams.
  6. Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customer requirements within Alibaba Cloud, ensuring that their needs are met and their voice is heard.
  7. Alibaba Cloud Representation: Represent Alibaba Cloud well within the customer's environment, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for our services.
  8. Architecture and Solution Recommendations: Work closely with our Alibaba Cloud Architect team to make recommendations on how Alibaba Cloud offerings can fit into customer's architecture and improve their IT efficiency.
  9. Issue Escalation and Performance Reviews: Drive issue escalation with Alibaba Cloud Service teams and conduct periodic reviews of operational performance to customer leadership for Key Accounts.
Position Requirements:
  1. Business Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the technology or cloud computing industry in the Middle East market.
  2. Proven Sales Track Record: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, with a strong understanding of the cloud computing market.
  3. Prospecting and Relationship Building: Experience in prospecting and building connections with new target accounts, leveraging your network and expertise to drive results.
  4. Technical Communication: Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, effectively communicating the value of Alibaba Cloud services.
  5. Business Acumen and Adaptability: Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with strong business acumen and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  6. Cloud Technology and Solutions: Understanding of Cloud and Hybrid Cloud technology and solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud, and VMware), with the ability to explain their value to clients.
  7. Language and Education: Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  8. Cultural Diversity and Global Environment: Comfortable working in a global company with cultural diversity and fast-paced growth, with a strong desire to contribute to our success.
