Job Description

As an Assistant Outlet Manager at Accor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outlets. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Outlet Manager in managing all outlets efficiently, adhering to established concept statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outlet Operations: Ensure that all operating standards are adhered to, achieving the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual.
  • Team Management: Assign responsibilities to subordinates and check their performance periodically.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage, and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
  • Financial Planning: Participate in the formulation of the Annual Operating Budget, determining outlet projected revenues and expenses, operating equipment, and FF&E requirements in line with the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered to, and the outlet is adequately equipped.
  • Inventory Checks: Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
  • Inventory Management: Carry out monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
  • Customer Service: Establish a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationships, and assisting in updating guest history files.
  • Pre-Shift Briefings: Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to ambassadors on preparation, service, and product knowledge.
  • Daily Operations: Attend the Daily Operating Meeting.
  • Festive Promotions: Assist in planning and organizing festive food promotions within the outlet.
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Liaise with the Kitchen and Beverage department on daily operations and quality.
  • Guest Complaints: Handle all guest complaints, requests, and enquiries on food, beverage, and service.
  • Peak Performance: Assist in the operations and be visible during peak times.
  • Cashiering Procedures: Ensure that outlet cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Departmental Operations Manual: Assist in the revision and updating of the outlet Departmental Operations Manual on an as-needed basis.
  • Marketing Planning: Assist in the formulation of the Annual Marketing Plan to establish a list of marketing activities in line with the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.
  • Daily Log Book: Maintain the Daily Log Book.
