Job Summary:

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the Front Office, ensuring that all hotel standards and procedures are followed. This includes supervising the Reception, CID, and Guest Relations teams, as well as managing stock levels and preparing requisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Front Office operations, including Reception, CID, and Guest Relations.
  • Ensure that all hotel standards and procedures are followed.
  • Manage stock levels and prepare requisitions.
  • Control arrival and departure lists, transportation, and airport services.
  • Block rooms according to guest requests and needs.
  • Ensure that all assigned and blocked rooms are accurately displayed in the PMS.
  • Monitor guest files and folios, ensuring that all immigration, financial, and audit procedures are respected.
  • Maintain accurate Guest History records and preregister recurring guests.
  • Update departure lists, respect checkout times, and schedule transportation needs.
  • Monitor room status and discrepancies.
  • Assist in securing external guest accommodation in case of overbooking.
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and property management system.
  • Control room keys and section keys.
  • Implement and control checklists daily.
  • Review the F/O logbook and sign it daily.
  • Update activity reports personally.
  • Ensure a proper handover between shifts.
  • Upsell Rooms, Food, and Beverage outlets and other facilities whenever opportunities arise.
  • Stay updated with competitor offerings and rates.
  • Liaise closely with Sales and Reservations on rate management.
