As the Business Development Team Leader, this role will play a vital part in building the foundation for the company's future growth and client service excellence.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

About the Role:

The Business Development Team Leader will be responsible for delivering structured training, mentorship, and ongoing support to Pathway Advisors, guiding them toward professional growth and independent advisory roles. This includes collaborating with other managers and the leadership team to align strategies, ensure consistency across advice units, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pathway Advisor Development: Deliver structured training programs, mentorship, and ongoing support to help advisors grow professionally and take on independent roles.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with managers and the leadership team to align strategies, ensure consistency, and drive improvement.
  • Onboarding and Integration: Support the smooth onboarding of new advisors, helping them adapt quickly to the company's processes and culture.
  • Performance Management: Monitor advisor progress, provide regular feedback, set clear goals, and address development areas.
  • Process and Workflow Optimisation: Collaborate with managers to refine workflows and develop scalable processes that enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Team Building and Engagement: Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages continuous learning, accountability, and high standards of professionalism.
  • Client Service Excellence: Ensure advisors are equipped to deliver consistent, high-quality advice and service to clients, upholding the company's reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and mentoring junior professionals, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire, guide, and collaborate effectively with advisors and managers.
  • Familiarity with structured training programs and development pathways.
  • Knowledge of financial planning processes, standards, and regulations in key jurisdictions.
  • A passion for building talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and client service excellence.
