HSBC’s Global Payment Solutions (GPS) serves as a core service provider to Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) and Commercial Banking (CMB) customers. Responsible for proactively managing, leading and driving the MENAT GPS Product Management organization throughout the region, in order to position HSBC as the market leading provider of Cash Management in each of its chosen customer segments and countries within the region. The jobholder is responsible for establishing payment strategy, product development & design, managing the budget planning for ATP and SBI initiatives and tracking business performance.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our GPS sales team within Commercial Banking, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

**In this role, you will**:

- Deliver both product management and product enhancement strategies/plans for the assigned product, in alignment with GPS’s overall strategy, in order to drive revenue growth and balance sheet efficiencies.
- You will ensure project plans are properly implemented and verifiably tracks financial metrics to expectations.
- Develop innovations and enhancements (through proper business case and implementation plan development working with various teams in GPS, Operations, IT, RMs, Legal, Risk, HR, Compliance, etc) to cater for new customer requirements and market opportunities/threats identified through assessing existing product viability, market research, and competitor analysis.
- You will manage product initiatives for Fees and NII revenue increase, growth of deposits with funding value to Balance Sheet
- Ensure that the products meet the operational, legal, credit & liquidity risk, compliance and audit requirements as well as local regulations, HSBC Group policies and internal procedures
- The role of the product management team in MENA is critical to meeting the strategic objectives of GPS. As the product expert, the job holder has the responsibility for the product P&L performance, Balance Sheet objectives and in formulating business strategies and operational plans.

Requirements

- Graduation degree is a must - to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
- Excellent knowledge of banking products and the bank's key market
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and process
- Experience on product development
- High level of people management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
