**The Role**:
As the B2B Commercial Manager, you'll shape the unit from organic sales to a self-sustaining entity, leading our new initiative to deliver a full range of sustainable products and services to corporations. You will also need to drive sales of sustainable products globally, oversee P&L, and expand our eco-friendly offerings. Responsibilities include strategic sourcing to diversify our sustainable merchandise lineup.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. BUSINESS UNIT STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT**:
- Develop a comprehensive strategy aligned with the Organisation’s goals;
- Conduct market analysis to identify targets, competition, and growth opportunities;
- Define clear objectives, milestones, and metrics for success.
**2. B2B Product Catalogue**:
- Research market trends for B2B expansion;
- Collaborate internally to source sustainable, quality products;
- Introduce new lines to meet corporate needs;
- Create compelling B2B sales materials.
**3. Team Building & Leadership**:
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams;
- Provide leadership, fostering collaboration and accountability;
- Set clear expectations and evaluate performance regularly.
**4. Risk Management**:
- Ensure compliance with laws and industry standards;
- Mitigate risks in B2B sales, negotiations, and supply chain;
- Establish strong processes and controls to uphold operational integrity and safeguard brand identity.
**5. CRM**:
- Integrate the business unit with our CRM system for tracking B2B interactions;
- Analyze CRM data for sales performance and forecasting;
- Regularly engage with corporate clients for feedback and loyalty.
**6. B2B Ordering Platform**:
- Utilize our B2B system for the corporation of product orders;
- Create an ecosystem for storing products in our 3PL and allowing customer access.
**The On-going Role**:
**1. Sales & Business Development**:
- Target corporate clients for sustainable products.
- Build strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers.
- Implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Negotiate contracts for mutual benefit.
**2. Strategic Partnerships**:
- Cultivate alliances with suppliers and distributors.
- Enhance value for corporate clients through collaborations.
- Utilize partnerships for accessing new markets.
**3. Market Expansion**:
- Expand presence in new regions and international markets.
- Develop market entry strategies and partnerships.
- Collaborate with local agencies for growth.
**4. P&L Management**:
- Manage financial performance, revenue, and expenses.
- Develop budgets aligned with company goals.
- Analyze metrics for optimization and implement initiatives for profitability.
**5. Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
- Drive B2B sales through partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations.
- Provide input for marketing and optimize processes.
- Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery and service.
**Requirements**:
- Senior management level experience in similar entities;
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the apparel or merchandise industry;
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred;
- A keen interest in sustainable business practices and eco-friendly product sourcing;
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills;
- Ability to analyse financial data, create budgets, and manage P&L effectively;
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment;
- Fluency in English. Additional languages such as Arabic would be a plus.
**Location**:
Based in Dubai (relocation can be discussed) or based in the UK.
**Salary**:
**UAE**:AED 40-45K per month
**UK**:£70-90K per year
