We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven **Sales & Marketing Manager** with experience in **B2B sales** within the **shipping industry**, specifically focused on **SaaS-based solutions **in **UAE**. This role involves building and managing strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and leading business development initiatives in a fast-paced and innovative tech environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Prospecting & Sales Funnel Development**: Identify potential clients and business opportunities, create a pipeline of prospects, and manage the sales funnel.
- **Lead Conversion & Client Engagement**: Engage in direct sales to qualify leads, understand client needs, and highlight solutions. Manage the end-to-end sales process from recommendation to contract negotiation, pricing, signing, and closure.
- **Target Achievement**: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as outlined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the shipping industry. Identify farming opportunities and work to grow existing accounts.
- **Collaboration with Product Development**: Collect and communicate client requirements and feedback to the product development team for continuous improvement.
- **Client Onboarding & Operations Coordination**: Oversee and manage client onboarding, ensuring seamless integration with the operations team.
- **Market Intelligence**: Collect and analyze market trends, competitor insights, and customer feedback to share with the Corporate Business Development & Strategy team for product enhancement and strategy alignment.
- **Trade Representation**: Represent the company at local industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars. Participate in relevant industry associations and trade bodies as needed.
- **Contract Management**: Draft, negotiate, and manage proposals and contracts. Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and maintain a detailed record of agreements.
- **Sales Materials & Presentations**: Develop and deliver compelling business presentations, sales materials, and marketing collateral.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Regularly analyze sales data and prepare detailed reports for senior management, providing actionable insights on performance, trends, and opportunities.
- **Strategic Market Penetration**: Identify and engage in attractive marketing channels, explore strategic partnerships, and develop advertising and PR strategies that align with corporate objectives.

**Required Experience & Skills**
- **B2B Sales Experience**: Minimum of **5 -6 years** of experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of success in direct customer engagement and closing deals with key decision-makers.
- **SaaS Sales in Shipping Industry**: Proven experience in selling SaaS-based solutions within the shipping or marine technology sector is essential.
- **Relationship Building**: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the shipping industry.
- **Tech Start-up Exposure**: Experience in working with fast-growing tech companies or start-ups, especially in the maritime or related industries.
- **Understanding of Shipping Operations**: Deep understanding of shipping commercial operations and the unique challenges of the marine industry.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
