Role Overview

As a Skywards Partnerships Commercial Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of Emirates' loyalty program, Skywards. This exciting opportunity involves managing the airline partnerships portfolio, executing commercial strategies to maximise revenue, and optimising member experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track performance and analyse the effectiveness of existing partnerships to ensure competitive agreements that drive revenue and profit.
  2. Airline Partnership Management: Monitor flown and forward bookings, recommend changes to member offerings or pricing structures, and work with the Skywards Analytics Team to improve data accuracy.
  3. Partner Relationships and Operations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline partners, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure all systems, teams, and processes are up-to-date with latest contract changes.
  4. Business Process Improvement: Continuously enhance member proposition, business processes, systems, and legal documentation where required, ensuring accurate internal and external communication.
  5. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address partner or member inquiries, technical failures, billing issues, fraudulent activities, and consult with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly.
Key Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a commercial or business management field.
  • 5+ years experience in airline management and/or relationship management/account management.
  • 5+ years experience in loyalty programs, analytics, or finance is preferred.
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills, ability to interpret data, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and relationship management skills.
