Job Title: Sales Manager - Leisure
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager - Leisure to join our team at Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah. As a Sales Manager - Leisure, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel sales revenue by attracting and securing new business opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve individual revenue goals and increase market share.
- Identify and Target Key Market Segments: Identify and target key market segments and develop strategies to capture new business opportunities.
- Generate and Maintain Customers: Generate and maintain customers of defined accounts through sales activities, including face-to-face calls, telephone calls, and site inspections.
- Establish and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local Destination Management Companies (DMCs), overseas Tour Operators, and other client groups to generate leads and secure sales.
- Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, and use the insights to set up sales and marketing strategies.
- Monitor Sales Performance: Monitor own sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate regular reports to evaluate progress, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
- Negotiate Sales Contracts: Develop and negotiate sales contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- Work with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth handover of bookings, efficient guest service delivery, and seamless event execution.
- Stay Updated on Industry Regulations: Stay updated on industry regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards to ensure compliance in all sales activities.
- Education: High school or university education or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry in a resort or leisure segment.
- Key Competencies: Communication and interpersonal skills, sales and negotiation skills, market knowledge, proactive and driven, customer-focused, information system knowledge, problem-solving skills, and time management skills.
- Language: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Computer Skills: Good computer skills required.
