Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Agent to join our team at Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Provide expert knowledge and guidance to guests on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
    • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries, requests, and comments
    • Ensure that all guest interactions are courteous, professional, and respectful
  • Front Office Operations
    • Process guest arrivals and departures, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments
    • Manage guest accounts, including billing, payments, and credit
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service
  • Problem Resolution
    • Respond promptly and effectively to guest complaints and concerns
    • Work with guests to resolve issues and find solutions
    • Document and follow up on guest feedback and concerns
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve guest service goals and objectives
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Degree in Hospitality or related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel front office operations
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
    • Fluency in English and/or other languages (dependent on location)
