Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sales Director to join our team at Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. as a key member of our Sales Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Enforce Sales Policies

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet competition, increase sales and profitability, and improve customer satisfaction.

Lead Sales and Marketing Efforts

Set sales and marketing plans and goals for the Hotel, and develop strategies or recommend procedural changes to meet competition and improve customer satisfaction.

Supervise Public Relations and Advertising

Direct and supervise all Public Relations and advertising activities of the Hotel, including identifying and soliciting prospective key sales accounts.

Provide Ongoing Sales Direction

Provide ongoing sales direction to all employees in the department through the development, guidance, and execution of customer interview and action plans.

Maintain Rate Structure

Maintain the Hotel's rate structure in conjunction with the Hotel Apartment Manager.

Conduct Meetings and Reporting

Conduct meetings of the department, report on confirmed and anticipated bookings for forecasting purposes, and advise the Management of sales effort progress and bookings.

Recruit and Train Staff

Conduct final selection interviews of candidates and recommend to the HR Manager for hire, all positions in the department as guided by Jood Hospitality Job Specifications and Descriptions.

Coordinate Efforts

Coordinate efforts between the Sales Office, Front Office, and the F&B Department, and submit backlog reports to the Corporate Office.

Represent the Hotel

Represent the Hotel in sales and other allied professional organizations, and travel to other locations to make sales presentations and maintain close liaison with travel agencies, local business parties, and airlines.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Hotel/Hotel Apartment Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Strong knowledge in Dubai Market is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple simultaneous projects, and delivering quantifiable results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, the ability to gain executive support.
  • Strong Interpersonal/Relationship Management Skills, ability to mentor, manage, and develop staff, manage/develop suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking that drives strategy and creates innovative options.
