Assistant Sales Manager Groups and Events

You will be responsible to assistwith the efficient running of the department in line with HyattInternational's Corporate Strategies and brand standards,whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The SalesManager Groups - European Market is responsible to act as a salesspecialist and be responsible to ensure the related revenue ismaximised in the most profitable way in line with the agreedtargets.
GroupSales StrategyDevelopment:
- Developand implement strategies to drive group sales, focusing on keymarket segments like corporate clients, associations, or specialevents.
- Identify and analyze market trends tocreate effective sales plans that align with businessgoals.
- Develop group sales targets and KPIs,and work towards achieving or exceedingthem.
LeadGeneration andNetworking:
- Identifyand cultivate new business opportunities for group sales bytargeting corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, andother potential group clients.
- Attendnetworking events, trade shows, and industry conferences togenerate leads and buildrelationships.
- Establish and maintain strongrelationships with existing and potential clients to secure repeatbusiness.
ClientRelationshipManagement:
- Workclosely with clients to understand their specific group needs,whether it's for a meeting, conference, wedding, or otherevents.
- Provide customized proposals, pricing,and packages tailored to the group'srequirements.
- Maintain regular communicationwith clients throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry topost-eventfollow-up.
Negotiationand ContractManagement:
- Negotiateterms and conditions of group bookings, including pricing, specialrequirements, and service levels.
- Prepare andfinalize contracts for group bookings, ensuring all details arecorrect and legally binding.
- Ensure that termsof contracts are followed and manage any changes or modificationsin bookingdetails.
Coordinationwith OtherDepartments:
- Workclosely with internal teams (e.g., event planners, catering,operations, and marketing) to ensure that group events are executedaccording to plan and clientexpectations.
- Ensure that all aspects of thegroup booking, including accommodations, meeting space, dining, andspecial services, are coordinated and delivered ontime.
- Act as the primary point of contactbetween clients and the company's internal teamsthroughout the eventlifecycle.
Salesand PerformanceReporting:
- Track salesperformance for group bookings and regularly report on progresstowards sales targets and KPIs.
- Use CRM toolsto manage client information, follow up on leads, and analyze salesdata.
- Prepare reports on group sales trends,forecasts, and competitor activities for seniormanagement.
SalesExpertise:
- Strongunderstanding of sales techniques, including lead generation,client management, and closing sales.
- Abilityto handle large-scale sales, especially for events, conferences, orcorporate accounts.
- Proven track record inmeeting or exceeding salestargets.
NegotiationSkills:
- Ability tonegotiate terms and pricing for group bookingseffectively.
- Skillful in handling objectionsand finding solutions that satisfy both clients and thecompany.
CustomerServiceExcellence:
- Strongfocus on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring clientsatisfaction and building long-termrelationships.
- Ability to tailor services tomeet the unique needs of group clients, whether for corporatemeetings or specialevents.
ProjectManagement:
- Excellentorganizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple groupbookings simultaneously.
- Ability to overseeevery detail of a group event, from the sales process to thesuccessful execution of theevent.

- Ability tomanage and motivate a team to reach sales goals and provideexcellent service.
