As a Sales Manager, you will:

  • Successfully conclude deals, in accordance with their individual KPI
  • Ensure new clients receive adequate and timely information, regarding all the necessary procedures and requirements.
  • Own full sales funnel for new clients from prospecting through to renewal.
  • Ensure proper documentation, rationale and supplementary information accompany each proposal
  • Record detailed proposal and concluded deals for each client.
  • Gather and analyze market (price, competitors, suppliers etc.) and customer information in order to enable informed decision making.
  • Maintain healthy pipeline of new clients to improve revenue contribution of sales business. Responsible for full pipeline from prospecting to planning to closure.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, including quarterly business reviews, performance readouts, and account planning
  • Identify opportunities for new products and features to better meet client and the business needs
  • Report to head of department on sales performance and opportunities /initiatives to improve revenues
  • Analyze and accurately forecast revenue performance, as well as annual budgeting.
Knowledge And Skills

  • Min. 34 years of experience working in a similar environment across any platform of media
  • TV, Radio, News Paper, Digital etc
  • Able to provide strategic counsel rooted in insights and intelligence to clients.
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written able to develop highquality strategy, write documents and proposals.
  • Track record in developing content and social strategies, audience planning/mapping, community management as well as new, innovative technologies.
  • Experience working across both consumer and B2B clients.
  • Passion for using digital to amplify campaigns, someone who can partner with clients, work on unlocking local opportunities and ultimately ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
  • Awareness and understanding of managing executive social channels / pages.
