- Merchandising: Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure optimal product placement, visibility, and presentation in-store and online.
- Feedback and Insights: Provide feedback on product performance, market trends, and consumer preferences to inform future product development and marketing efforts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to share insights, provide updates on account activities, and coordinate actions to support key account objectives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Record progress of inquiries and create regular reports, including source of business trends, inquiry conversion rates, future predicted sales, and other reports as directed by the sales manager.
- Customer Support: Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
- Lead Generation: Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, email, and networking; identify and develop new customer accounts to increase sales.
- Contracting and Compliance: Prepare documents related to sales and support contracting activities like purchase agreements, contracts, etc. in coordination with the Legal department.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and file all related documents and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Customer Support: Provide customers with clarifications, answer queries, provide requested information, and follow up with customers.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely forecasting on a periodic basis, and discuss inefficiencies related to the performance of sales; prepare sales reports and summaries on a frequent basis.
- Customer Evaluation: Evaluate customers and be responsible for applicable background checks to ensure customers fall within the Business Unit's guidelines.
- Performance Goals: Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
- Professional Development: Take ownership of your own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan.
- Continuing Education: Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
