  • Toprovide service that is sincere warm and enthusiastic ensuring theemployees satisfaction in order to make a professional firstimpression of the Talent & CultureDepartment
  • To provide support to the Talent& Culture/Learning & Development team whilstmaintaining strict confidentiality of information at alltimes
  • Have a thorough understanding of Talent& Culture and Learning & Development policies andprocedures and be able to provide up to date information and promptanswers to employee and candidate queries
  • Totake the time to get to know the employees and to be committed toservice excellence
  • To be entrepreneurial and tothink beyond the boundaries is expected and notrequested
  • To prioritise tasks and manageemployees expectations in busy workenvironment
  • Possess advanced knowledge ofMicrosoft Officesystems

 

KeyDeliverables andResponsibilities

 

Planning&Organizing:

  1. To organiseemployee events including birthday celebrations national daysemployee parties activities sports teams and lifestyleclasses.
  2. To regularly update the communication& ACE of Heartists boards for all employees and assist withthe implementation and communication of all hotel policies andprocedures throughnoticeboards.

Operations:

  1. Toprepare name badges and ID cards and any replacementsrequired.
  2. Process ticket bookings for new hiresvacations business trips and leavers as perpolicy.
  3. Manages the application and deletion ofMedical Insurance Workmans Compensation and LifeInsurance.
  4. Manages the Probation Evaluation& Confirmation by sending the evaluation forms on time andfollowing up with leaders for completion. Organising interviewswith Director of Talent & Culture & issuing theconfirmation letter.
  5. Creates Disciplinaryletters and schedules meetings with Director of Talent &Culture as directed.
  6. Owns the Cafeteriaoperations ensuring upkeep cleanliness and availability ofconsumables in the cafeteria.
  7. Maintainsaccurate stock and inventory of cafeteria locker room and HeartistHub items.
  8. Overlooks the upkeep of Heartist HubT&C Store and file room
  9. Keeps theTalent & Culture/Learning & Development Office andTraining Room tidy.
  10. Orders stationarydecorations and other items as required.
  11. AssistLearning & Development Manager by preparing IMRs andcertificates of completion.
  12. Schedule exitinterviews with Learning & Development Manager and DirectorTalent & Culture.
  13. Complete the Exitformalities as per the checklist for all leavers and ensuring alldocuments are in place.
  14. Has an environmentallyfriendly approach to use of energy and paper in theoffice.

 

Administration:

  1. Toprovide administrative support to the Director of Talent &Culture and Learning & DevelopmentManager.
  2. To raise expense reports and PRs forall Talent & Culture expenses including cafeteria staffevents payment of utilities accommodation and miscellaneousorders.
  3. To file all employee related documentscorrectly & efficiently on an ongoing basis and own thefiling system.
  4. Maintains an accurate filingsystem for all Talent & Culture Office communications likememos all Talent & Culture related AMCs voting slips andother general documents.
  5. Submits andcoordinates the successful filing and payout of employee insuranceclaims.
  6. Prepare letters for employees asrequested (eg. bank letters embassyletters)
  7. Participate in the weekly Heart of theHouse WalkAround and Accommodation Checks.
  8. Anyother duties and tasks assigned by Director of Talent &Culture.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Previousexperience in Human Resources and/or the Hospitality Industry isessential and preferred
  • Knowledge ofSmartrecruiter or similar automated Talent AcquisitionSystems is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite is required.
  • A degree inHuman Resources or Hospitality Management from a University orCollege is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonalcommunication and organizational skills arenecessary.
  • Strong problemsolving capabilitiesand a high degree of responsibility andreliability.
  • Acute attention to detail with theability to remain composed and focused.
  • Provenability to work collaboratively within a team and address employeeneedseffectively.
