Our client, a leading marketplace for digital giftcards in the Middle East is recruiting for an experienced Regional Sales Director to join their team in Dubai, UAE.
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving the B2B sales strategy for Employee & Customer Rewards across UAE/KSA and the rest of the GCC region.
This role requires a strategic leader with a strong sales acumen - setting up detailed sales strategy & targets and identifying corporate clients. This person will be capable of building and managing a robust, high-performing sales team, and fostering long-term relationships with corporate clients to expand our clients market presence.
Your Responsibilities:
Sales strategy and planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the GCC region
- Identify market opportunities and establish sales objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Prospect and acquire new corporate clients in the public and private sectors
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance our clients value proposition and market reach
- Maintain and deepen relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Tailor and present our clients solutions to meet the specific needs of clients
- Build, mentor, and lead a regional sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance team capabilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Collaborate on the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive sales
- Track and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
- Implement corrective actions to address any performance gaps
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in selling digital products or services, preferably in fintech, banking, or a related industry.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Negotiation: Proven negotiation skills to close complex deals and foster long-term partnerships.
- Analytical: Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor solutions to meet those needs.
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and other relevant technologies.
