SOFITEL is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing business relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy

Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep SOFITEL a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.

Customer Relationship Management

Develop and maintain customer accounts to drive business into SOFITEL and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.

Negotiation and Sales

Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.

Customer Service

Promptly respond to customer queries in a professional manner, maintaining high level standards of service and client relationships.

Account Development

Develop high yield accounts according to the sales segmentation.

Sales Targets

Achieve sales target set by hotel.

Sales Calls and Meetings

Conduct sales calls to existing and prospective accounts as per areas assigned by DOS.

Sales Database Management

Maintain all sales activities and account information in the Sales Database.

Industry Relations

Maintain a high profile within the travel industry and foster relationships with accounts in the Market.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare weekly/monthly reports as requested by the Director of Sales.

Account Tracking

Ensure companies of which you are responsible are being tracked in accordance with their room night targets on a monthly basis and report as per the guidelines set out by the DOS.

Team Collaboration

Attend weekly sales meetings with the DOS.

Site Inspections and Familiarization

Conduct site inspections and host familiarization visits when required.

Performance Review

Attend monthly review meetings with DOS to discuss results versus goals in the annual sales call plan and company sales strategy.

Flexibility and Adaptability

Be flexible to carry out other duties and assignments as requested by the DOS.
