Sales Director

As a key member of the Accor team, the Director of Sales will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team to secure new and repeat business, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Sales Budget and Plans: Collaborate with the DOSM to set annual sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Manage Sales Agreements and Contracts: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all sales agreements, contracts, and quotes, in line with Accor's policies and procedures.
- Contribute to Revenue Growth: Work closely with department heads to maximize operating results and achieve revenue goals set by the market.
- Lead the Sales Team: Coordinate team activities to secure new and repeat business, track productivity, and analyze results to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Market Analysis and Intelligence: Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and group movements in the region.
- Sales Database and Solicitation: Continuously update the database of contacts and local group leads, including the competitive set, to implement an efficient solicitation program.
- Credit and Billing Procedures: Ensure all credit, billing, and collection procedures are implemented in accordance with Accor's credit policies and procedures.
- Booking and Filing Procedures: Implement correct booking and filing procedures, including group room and meeting program history, catering setup, and contractual agreements.
- Monthly Credit Meetings: Attend monthly credit meetings with Executive Committee members, ensuring concise and efficient follow-up.
- Key Account Development: Define and target key accounts, develop effective solicitation strategies with the Sales Managers, and research new markets and potential accounts for the sales team to follow up.
- Team Image and Standards: Ensure the sales team projects a warm, professional, and welcoming image, and maintain high departmental standards.
- Departmental Operations Manuals: Prepare and update departmental operations manuals annually.
- Filing System and Meetings: Maintain an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual and electronic, and ensure all meetings are well-planned, efficient, and results-oriented.
- Contract and Financial Documents: Safeguard all contracts and financial documents, and identify training needs and plan training programs for the sales team.
