Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Leader to oversee the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food production and quality.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing unique and innovative menus, collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager to set prices, and staying current on industry trends.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing menus that showcase our culinary expertise
- Collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager to set prices and ensure profitability
- Staying current on industry trends and best practices
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Coordinating payroll management and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations
- Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating, and delivery
- Establishing and implementing performance standards for the Stewarding in Kitchen and Food & Beverage to achieve the highest possible hygiene standards
- Ensuring compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including HACCP standards and procedures
- Identifying and introducing new culinary techniques
Qualifications:
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and at least 7 years of experience in quality establishments in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English and a proven track record of food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge
- Strong knowledge of the HACCP management system and administration work
- Prior experience with Futurelog & food waste management system is an asset
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
