Job Summary

Trigenx, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting Sales Account Managers in system specification analysis, supporting site surveys, and preparing quotes for complicated projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Specification Analysis: Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to analyze customer requirements and provide clear, documentable, and coordinated specifications.
  • Site Surveys and Administrative Support: Conduct site surveys, complete administrative tasks, and review all related requirements to build an accurate bill of material and quote.
  • Quote Preparation: Assist in preparing quotes for complicated projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Customer Engagement: Partner with Sales Representatives to evaluate customer requirements, present value-added material products and services, and review and design solutions.
  • Project Management: Work with CHL Project Managers to manage and implement solutions, ensuring projects are ordered accurately, installed/shipped timely, and completed on budget.
  • Documentation and CRM Management: Ensure all projects are documented in CRM prior to engaging in support, including opportunity naming convention, unit quantity, and dollars.
  • Warehouse Solution Support: Maintain a working knowledge of all Warehouse Solution related Opportunities, requiring continued support to assist with moving them through the Sales Pipeline.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Liaise with other departments and external sources as needed to address project technical issues and assist with any impact on the overall implementation schedule.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendor personnel during initial site-related activity, identifying existing or new technical requirements on a project-by-project basis.
  • Demonstrations and Training: Understand and perform compelling demos as required, assist with Sales presentations, and train the salesforce as needed.
  • Research and Development: Research and recommend emerging technical solutions, and maintain a strong working knowledge of the warehouse systems, related components, and sales/commercial acumen.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain working knowledge of latest installation procedures and options, including pictures of various warehouse sites.
  • Networking and Professional Development: Network with other dealer resources, establish a support group, and attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes.
Requirements
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Adopt a team approach, working with others in pursuing common goals.
  • Experience and Skills: 2-4 years of experience in material handling sales, automation, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Information Management: Ability to accurately and effectively manage large volumes of information.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Adept at assimilating and disseminating information in a professional manner, and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Resourcefulness and Judgment: Demonstrate resourcefulness and judgment to resolve routine problems relating to assigned projects.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills, and high-level of self-structure producing accurate work with a strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Visio or other related flow diagram software preferred.
  • Software Familiarity: Familiarity with and the use of ACAD, Solidworks, and other software suites preferred.
