The Director of Revenue at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts plays a pivotal role in enhancing profitability across various revenue streams, including Rooms, Restaurants, and Spas. This leadership position is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive incremental revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic planning process and collaborate with all hotel profit generation teams to identify opportunities for increased profitability.
- Develop both short- and long-term forecasts to inform pricing strategies and yield management tactics.
- Maximize room revenue contributions by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of booking channels and effective inventory management.
- Optimize pricing, promotions, and availability strategies by defining and managing rates, stay restrictions, and other tactics aligned with demand factors to target the most lucrative customer segments.
- Direct and manage all channel distribution strategies while evaluating new business opportunities related to booking channels.
- Act as the system owner for Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Total Revenue Management Systems (TARS), rate shopping systems, and other hotel-specific platforms, ensuring data quality and system hygiene in accordance with established standards.
- Oversee the smooth operation of the Reservations Department while ensuring compliance with brand standards.
Your experience and skills include:
- A service-oriented personality with proven leadership experience.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
- Familiarity with all partner intranets.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Previous experience in reservations is highly preferred.
- Experience with the latest hospitality revenue and reservations systems in the industry.
