Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Front Office Ambassador to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our Front Office Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the Front Office and the hotel, promoting a positive image and providing exceptional service to guests.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized working area, adhering to hotel standards and procedures.
- Utilize proper telephone etiquette and follow Sofitel standards to ensure a professional and courteous experience for guests.
- Attend to all guest inquiries and requests, providing prompt and efficient service while respecting hotel standards and procedures.
- Offer a warm welcome to guests and ensure they enjoy their stay, providing personalized service and exceeding their expectations.
- Personally greet and escort guests, rather than directing them to locations.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of guests, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Manage guest complaints in a professional manner, resolving issues and ensuring guest satisfaction while recording incidents.
- Seek advice from supervisors or managers in serious cases or when approval is required.
- Share daily activity highlights with supervisors and managers, including internal and external guest opportunities.
- Be aware of and report all guest comments or complaints.
- Be aware of all VIPs visiting or staying in the hotel.
- Perform a proper cashier close and ensure a complete handover between shifts.
- Be aware of forged currency and travelers checks, respecting all financial and audit procedures.
- Check departure lists and ensure checkout times are respected.
- Properly use all equipment and the Fidelio management system to maintain a perfect knowledge of set-ups.
- Respect the room keys and section keys handover procedures.
- Follow daily checklists.
- Read the F/O logbook daily to update it and sign it.
- Be aware of all hotel facilities operating timings and promote internal activities and events.
- Upsell Rooms, Food and Beverage outlets, and other facilities whenever opportunities arise.
- Stay updated with the latest administrative, organizational, operational, or other changes and news.
- Attend a daily line-up briefing with the Front Office team to recap tasks and activities.
- Promote the Accor loyalty programs.
- Maintain a high morale and happy working relationship among the team.
- Be flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub-sections of the Front Office Department.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Front Office Supervisor and the Assistant Front Office Manager.
