Job Title: Guest Services Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Manager to join our team at JUMEIRAH. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests feel valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of hostesses and ensure they adhere to our high standards of service and hospitality.
  • Guest Welcome: Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth flow of guest seating and service.
  • Reservation Management: Manage dining reservations and coordinate special events for guests, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration with restaurant staff and other departments.
  • Guest Needs Assessment: Accurately assess guest needs and expectations, including those with special requirements, and provide personalized recommendations and assistance.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure all guest needs and requests are promptly met within established timeframes, consistently delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of all in-house services, including dining options, amenities, and local area information, to provide comprehensive assistance and enhance the guest experience.
  • Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth familiarity with the menu to confidently address guest inquiries, recommend dishes, and highlight current specials or promotions.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls within three rings using our standard script, delivering professional and informative responses to guest inquiries, reservation requests, and other inquiries.
  • Hostess Desk Management: Monitor and maintain the hostess desk area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with grooming and uniform standards.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in hospitality management, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
