Lead Pre Sales Consultant

**Job Description Summary**: In this strategic technical pre-sales role, the Lead Pre Sales Technical Consultant will establish a trusted advisor relationship with both our external customers and internal technical teams. You will discuss, in depth, the GE Digital Grid software solutions in the Transmission & Distribution segments and demonstrate how our solutions can meet the customers business needs. You will own and lead the technical solution definition and will be involved in validating the response for large complex bids. You will collaborate with internal development teams, cross regional pre-sales technical teams and commercial sales teams in the business to help build pipeline, drive sales, and achieve or exceed the operating plan.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
You are an experienced Pre-Sales or similar technical conultant that excels in translating the complex into impactful solutions through day in the life storytelling. In this role, you will be integrating with our stakeholders and formulating solutions by:
- Create a “trusted technical advisor” relationship with our customer’s technologists and internal technical teammates.
- Strong ability to discuss, present and demonstrate solutions, content and capabilities at depth or up to the C-level
- Ability to draw on experience and solution knowledge to tell impact for stories
- Develop solution architecture framework to support solution selling on an enterprise level.
- Support the technical solution definition for large complex bids (RFPs, RFIs, tenders, etc.) and validate the overall technical response to ensure it aligns with customers requirements.Experience in ADMS or EMS segment either as a solution vendor or as a solution consumerPresent and enthisistically promote GE solutions in sales forums, industry events and conferences to drive demand and continued interest.
- These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.
A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
**Required Qualifications**
- This role requires advanced experience in the Sales & Architecture. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
**Desired Characteristics**- Manages and possesses working industry knowledge and skillset (of self or others) in assigned vertical.
- Significant expertise in developing and selling SW/HW solutions. Including creating and executing propositions and a track record of success.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels. Leverage past experience and storytelling to engage customers.
- Technical acumen to interface with technologists, understand complex concepts and translate in a way that businesses or industry can understand.
