Solartron ISA uses flow measurement knowledge and expertise developed over five decades to provide life of field solutions for the energy sector. Data generated by our flow meters is used across the globe to improve production revenues by monitoring and allocating hydrocarbon resources or controlling production processes. As the world transition to new energy sources, Solartron ISA is supporting the move to clean energy by developing innovative products including flow meters for Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS).

**Job purpose**:
**Job Scope**
- The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating profitable sales growth through maintaining and expanding the customer base across the region. The role will work closely with other sales team members, marketing, engineering and operational staff at Shildon and in regional offices. The position is responsible for identification (lead generation), project pursuit and order conversion within the region, and supporting global cross-territory activity. The role is responsible for developing regional sales and channel strategies in line with company objectives and managing and maintaining product and customer qualification as required within the region. The role supports order fulfilment activities, governs customer satisfaction within the area, and keeps up-to-date market intelligence and customer relationship tools._

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- _Achieve sales targets for specific product groups within the Middle East & Africa._
- _Project pursuit of major contracts with the relevant product managers, including support of cross-territory global projects._
- _Develop and implement country/regional strategies to grow sales within the Middle East & Africa_
- _Market intelligence and customer feedback_
- _Provides information for tender & contract review, and when required, supports bid preparation_
- _Promotional activities including product presentations, attending exhibitions and conferences_
- _Reporting requirements include submission of quarterly/ annual travel plans, visit reporting, contact management and monthly order forecasting via salesforce._

**Experience, Professional Qualifications and Personal Requirements**:

- _Recognised Engineering qualification (Engineering Degree or relevant experience)_
- _Proven Sales Experience (3 years minimum) with a high emphasis on project pursuit_
- _Competent user of MS Office and sales management tools eg salesforce_
- _Commercial knowledge including contract terms & conditions, negotiation and margins_
