Channel Sales Lead

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead Mimecast’s channel business.

In this role you will lead and accelerate our Channel Business across the Middle East region. You'll work directly with quota carrying account executives at Mimecast and will report into the EMEA Channel sales organisation, with a tight interlock into the Middle East sales leadership team.

You will need to be customer centric, accountable and constantly seeking to win.

The role involves accelerating a channel go-to-market model that will serve both our existing and future customer base, via both resell and MS(S)P GTMs. Ideally we are looking for someone with experience working with large MSSP’s, system integrators, VAR’s and through a Distribution channel.

What you'll do
- Work closely with Account Executives, regional leaders and distribution partners to identify and accelerate focus partners
- Build and animating a Resell and MS(S)P route to market through a distribution channel
- Owning and being measured on a partner generated bookings number
- Aligning the sales organization through targeted demand generation and alignment activities
- Driving resources to provide enablement activities at both the Sales and SE level
- Providing executive alignment with partner stakeholders
- Aligning yourself internally with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to drive toward a common goal
- Accurately forecasting partner opportunities in conjunction with the direct sales teams
- Building marketing plans and manage a budget for the region
- Coordinating and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including SE organization, product marketing, sales, marketing, operations and legal) to deliver a world class experience for the partner
- Holding the partners and the stakeholders accountable to agreed upon goals

What you'll bring
- Experience in technology channel sales
- Experience managing Commercial/ SMB sale territories and/or partner relationships
- Understanding of and contacts within the ME cyber partners’ community
- Understanding of opportunity qualification, running a deal cycle and forecasting
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape
- Ability to build and execute both Resell and Go To Market plans
- Experience working with, and building, a distribution led sales motion
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
- Interface at all levels maintaining strong working relationships across cross-functional teams
- Experience selling cloud solutions with a focus on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
- Strong presentation, programme management and negotiation skills
