Overview: As the Head of Partnerships for an esteemed sports organization based in Dubai, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships to enhance brand presence, revenue streams, and overall growth within the dynamic sports industry. You will lead the development and execution of partnership strategies, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and collaborators to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the organization's objectives and growth targets.
- Identify and engage potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators within the sports industry and related sectors.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favourable terms and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, and other departments to leverage partnership opportunities effectively.
- Manage and nurture existing partner relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and value delivery.
- Drive revenue generation through sponsorship deals, advertising partnerships, and other monetization avenues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to inform partnership strategies and tactics.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and partnership initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing partnerships team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sports management, or related field; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships within the sports industry, preferably in the Middle East region.
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and drive revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Deep understanding of the sports industry landscape, trends, and key players.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; familiarity with sponsorship activation platforms is a plus.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
