The IT Managed ServicesPreSales Manager is responsible for supporting salesefforts by designing proposing and positioning IT managed servicessolutions tailored to customer requirements. This role bridgestechnical expertise and business strategy working closely withsales teams solution architects and service delivery teams todevelop compelling proposals conduct proofofconcepts (POCs) andensure that solutions align with client business goals.The idealcandidate should have a strong understanding of cloud computing(AWS Azure GCP) cybersecurity IT service management (ITSM) anddigital transformation and be able to communicate the value ofmanaged services to both technical and businessstakeholders.

 

JobDescription: 

1. PreSalesSolution Development
       Assess Client Requirements Engage with potentialcustomers to analyze business needs        ITchallenges and transformation goals.
     Develop Tailored Managed Services Solutions Designservice models covering:

  • Cloud& Infrastructure Management (AWS Azure GCP hybridIT)
  • Managed Security Services (SOC SIEM threatdetection IAM)
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)(Service Desk ITILbased processesautomation)
  • DevOps & Automation (CI/CDpipelines Kubernetes Ansible Terraform)
    Create TechnicalProposals & RFP/RFI Responses Prepare solution documentstechnical designs and pricing models.
    Define ServiceLevel Agreements (SLAs) & Operational Frameworks Ensureclear definition of service commitments KPIs and operationalworkflows.

 2. SalesEnablement & Client Engagement

SupportSales & Business Development Teams Assist in clientmeetings technical discussions and deal structuring.
Conduct Solution Demonstrations & ProofofConcepts (POCs)Showcase managed services capabilities through livedemos.
Develop Business Cases & ROIJustifications Present costbenefit analyses and valuedrivenoutcomes to decisionmakers.
Engage with CLevel &IT Executives Build strong relationships with CTOs CIOs and ITleaders to position managed services as strategicenablers.

3. Competitive Analysis &Market Positioning

Research Industry Trends& Competitor Offerings Stay updated on emergingtechnologies automation AIdriven IT operations and securityinnovations.
Develop Differentiated Service OfferingsIdentify gaps in competitor solutions and highlight unique valuepropositions.
Engage with Technology Vendors &Partners Collaborate with Microsoft AWS Cisco Palo Alto VMware andother strategic partners.

4. Collaboration withInternal Teams

Work with Solution Architects& Service Delivery Teams Ensure proposed solutions arefeasible scalable and costeffective.
Enhance Proposal& Documentation Processes Create standardized proposaltemplates pricing models and presentations.
Support inMarketing & Thought Leadership Provide input forwhitepapers case studies and webinars to position managed servicesofferings.

5. Governance Risk &Compliance (GRC) in PreSales

Ensure Compliancewith IT Governance & Security Standards Align solutionswith ISO 27001 GDPR NIST ITIL and local regulations.
Assess Vendor & ThirdParty Risks Evaluate cloud serviceprovider security policies and integrations.
Define RiskMitigation Strategies Ensure business continuity and disasterrecovery solutions are incorporated intoproposals.

Qualifications:

MinimumQualifications:

Bachelors orMasters degree in IT Computer Science Business or a relatedfield.

8 years in IT service delivery with 5years in a presales managerial role
Preferredcertifications:

  • AWS / Azure / GCPSolution Architect
  • ITIL v4 Foundation / ITSMPractitioner
  • CISSP / CISM (for securityfocusedpresales)
  • TOGAF (for enterprise architecturesolutions)

Technical &Business Expertise

Cloud &Infrastructure AWS Azure GCP hybrid cloud onpremmigrations.
IT Service Management (ITSM) ITILbasedprocesses ServiceNow BMC Remedy.
Cybersecurity &Compliance Managed security SOC SIEM NIST ISO 27001.
Automation & DevOps CI/CD pipelines KubernetesTerraform.
Financial Modeling & Pricing Managedservices pricing (peruser perdevice tieredsubscription).

DesiredQualifications :

Masters degree inIT

10 years in IT service delivery with 5 yearsin a managerialrole
