HR Business Partner

As the HR BusinessPartner, dnata, this is an exciting opportunity toprovide an efficient, solutions-focused HR service througheffective partnership with HR Business Partners and HR managementteam, as well as the line. You will be responsible for coaching andguidance in relation to managing people, positions and work. Youwill also identify people related trends and feed insights into theHRBP team. In this role you will be paramount in the delivery ofvalue add services, projects aligning business objectives withemployees and management in designated business units. You will bea HR Consultant, and will act as an employee champion and changeagent.
In ThisRole, You Will
- ProvideHR guidance when delivering HR products and align products to thedepartment requirements in order to support the department toachieve their goals. Provide advice and guidance for managers onemployee or organisational related queries, whether approacheddirectly or via HR Shared Services. Ensure HR matters are handledfairly and consistently in line with company requirements and localemployment laws.
- Act as a point-of-contact onprojects or in events ensuring coordination support to key HRprojects or events Support activities in the HR calendar such asimplementation of annual pay reviews (merit pot allocation), profitshare, etc.
- Mediate complex issues andpersonalities. Work closely with the line to enable them to manageprobation reviews, grievance, disciplinary and capabilityinvestigations and hearings. Manages and resolves highly complexemployee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough andobjective investigations. Identify and escalate cases consideredhigh risk to the appropriate manager or HRBP and partner with theEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support managers andemployees with specific needs or sensitivecases.
- Provide a targeted coaching and advisoryservice to managers on attendance management. In partnership withthe line and HR Shared Services, manage complex cases of long/shortterm sickness absence, industrial injury and occupational healthreferrals in accordance with companypolicy.
- Support the roll out of organisationaland HR change initiative / projects which have significant peopleimplications. This includes organisational design, job role reviewand job evaluation. Drives and communicates strategic andoperational change in the business.
- Help driveorganisational performance through performance management byworking with HR BPs and line managers with goal setting,development planning, individual reviews, and in the provision ofrelevant information in relation to trends and areas of focus orimprovement.
- Provide relevant insights to HRBPsregarding engagement and departmental culture, on the basis ofinteraction with employees through formal and informal channels,and become involved in projects that are focused on the improvementof departmental culture and/or engagementlevels.
- Identify HR process and proposeimprovements with a focus on customer experience, simplificationand efficiency. Develop and promote feedback mechanisms foremployees and managers to influence the continuous improvement ofHR services and process. Lead change projects within the team orsupport larger/more complex projects by collaborating withcolleagues to ensure stakeholders are communicated with and changesare successfully implemented. Reviews the generated HR documents /reports to ensure accuracy of theinformation.
- Involvement in both local andoverseas recruitment campaigns, applying sound selection practicesand methodologies to attract and appoint top talent into thebusiness, coaching managers throughout the process. Identifiestraining needs for business units and individual executive coachingneeds and provide input to HRBP to the development of thestrategy.
- Ensure strong relationships andnetworks are built across the HR teams to ensure a seamless,quality-led service to the business.
Desired candidate profile
- 5 + years’experience in HR Business Partner capacity, with exposure tointernational environments or multinationalorganisations
- Degree or Honours in a relatedsubject (HR, Business, Humanities)
- Aprofessional accreditation in HR (CIPD, AHRI orequivalent)
