Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive compensation benchmarking surveys, including peer group identification and analysis of market pay trends, ensuring competitive salary and benefit structures are established in line with UAE and international market trends.
  • Perform job slotting exercises to evaluate the organization's pay positioning against the market.
Job Evaluation & Grading Structures
  • Conduct job evaluations using Korn Ferry Hay Group methodology or other job evaluation frameworks for new roles and re-evaluate existing roles to ensure alignment with grading structures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain grading structures and job families to ensure clear career progression paths.
Compensation and Benefits Design & Management
  • Design, implement, and manage salary structures that balance internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage annual merit and promotions frameworks, ensuring alignment with performance and business goals.
  • Design and oversee annual performance bonuses, sales incentive schemes, and other short-term and long-term incentive programs.
  • Manage pay and benefit harmonization during mergers and acquisitions, including conducting pay migration and cost impact analyses.
  • Provide recommendations for new benefits introduction based on market research and internal needs analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Collaborate with the OD & Finance team to develop and refine manpower budgeting processes.
  • Monitor and report on compensation and benefits expenses to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
Policy Development & Compliance
  • Draft, review, and implement compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and international regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide advisory support to HCBP & employees on policy interpretation and application.
  • Harmonize compensation and benefits policies across the group and subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Systems and Data Management
  • Leverage SAP, Oracle, or other HRMS platforms for compensation and benefits management, for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain compensation dashboards, charts, and graphs for informed decision-making.
  • Perform advanced data analysis using Excel, including lookups, nested formulas, and pivot tables, to provide actionable insights.
Performance & Reward Analytics
  • Analyze and report on internal equity and external competitiveness across the organization's compensation structures.
  • Develop and manage performance and reward analytics, integrating data from performance management systems with compensation planning.
  • Monitor and report on reward effectiveness using metrics such as employee satisfaction and retention.
Employee Communication & Engagement
  • Implement communication strategies to educate employees on compensation and benefits programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and rewards.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to address compensation-related challenges and ensure alignment with business needs.
Strategic Initiatives
  • Contribute to organizational growth strategies by aligning compensation and benefits frameworks with business goals.
  • Design and implement strategies to support talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and execute group-level compensation initiatives for local and international operations.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Organizational Changes
  • Conduct cost impact analyses and provide recommendations for compensation harmonization.
Experience:
  • At least 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits management.
  • Experience in the defense industry or related sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Certification in compensation or rewards (e.g., CCP, GRP) is a plus.
Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation frameworks, benchmarking methodologies, and benefits design.
  • Proficiency in SAP , Oracle , or other HRMS platforms for managing compensation processes.
