You will be responsible for the implementation of trade marketing activities set by JTI SA for the assigned territory (and communication with the field force - where applicable). You’ll establish close business relationship with the trade and plays an active role in the implementation of consumer & trade marketing programs.
You manage in close relationship with all functions within regional M&S teams the implementation of consumer & trade marketing programs and monitor implementation KPIs and competitive activity.
You contribute and implement (key) account plans and agreements and monitor (key) account compliance checks.
You will report findings to the Regional Sales Manager and relevant Marketing & Sales teams.
What will you do – responsibilities:
Responsible for effective implementation of JTI SA trade marketing strategies and through-the-line marketing strategies including merchandising, shelf-space, and promotional programs as defined by the central and regional M&S team. Monitors implementation progress, as well as the quality of materials used, and recommends corrective action where necessary
Responsible for field intelligence and data gathering through sales force automation tool provided
Responsible for planning input, execution of KPI monitoring, and reporting results to the Regional Sales Manager, including, but not exclusive to, volume, pricing, stock management, and brand listings
Responsible for direct and indirect customer interface and trade relationship management
Responsible for the rolling forecast, LE, AP, and SP input and plans for the assigned territory
Responsible for the market/area budget planning and budget utilization in an effective and compliant manner
In conjunction with the appropriate function in JTI SA initiate/terminate 3rd party relationships (contracts) regarding in-store promotional and advertising activities, under the supervision/approval process of JTI SA
Responsible for providing input and implementing (key) account plans, and KA agreements and monitoring (key) account compliance
Whoare we looking for – requirements:
A university degree or equivalent is preferable
5 years experience in sales with distributor management, Travel Retail experience is a plus
Experience in consumer/trade promotions
Key Account Management and/or Project Management experience
Analysis & Problem Solving skills
Interpersonal skills
Logistics, forecast, and order management experience
Understanding of pricing and trade margins
Field Intelligence & data gathering
KPI monitoring/reporting
