We are seeking a skilled Junior Technical Support Specialist to join our team at MENA Recruit Pty Ltd. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex problems to senior support teams when necessary.
- Service Desk Operations: Monitor and manage service desk inboxes, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to clients, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions, contributing to the development of knowledge base and training materials.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including third-line support teams, to ensure seamless issue resolution and effective communication with clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance technical support services and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in technical support, with a strong understanding of PC hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with ITIL principles and processes, with experience working in a similar role in a professional services environment.
- Technical Certifications: Relevant technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA.
- Experience with Mobile Devices: Experience working with mobile devices, including iOS and Android.
- Knowledge of Document Management Systems: Familiarity with document management systems, such as SharePoint or Documentum.
