About the Role
The Commercial Development Director role involves driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and converting them into successful outcomes. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the market and its dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business growth strategy that aligns with the company's objectives;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners;
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources, ensuring seamless delivery of services;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, informing business decisions and strategy adjustments;
- Implement efficient sales processes and tools to enhance performance and productivity;
- Establish and maintain a robust network of contacts and partnerships, driving new business opportunities and revenue growth;
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation and learning from successes and failures;
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions;
- Promote a customer-centric approach, prioritizing excellent service and building long-term relationships with clients;
- Stay adaptable and responsive to changing market conditions and business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or finance;
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field;
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets;
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
- Ability to think strategically and drive business results;
- Familiarity with sales tools, technologies, and methodologies;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Results-driven and target-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes;
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to learn and evolve;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
