E-commerce Expansion Manager

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans for e-commerce expansion into new markets (domestic and international).
* Conduct thorough market research to identify high-potential regions and customer segments for expansion.
* Analyze competitor landscapes, local market trends, and consumer behavior to build tailored expansion strategies.
* Coordinate with leadership to prioritize and map out new market launches and product offerings.
Collaborate with product, marketing, logistics, and IT teams to ensure successful expansion launches.
* Work with the marketing team to create and execute localized campaigns and promotions to drive awareness and sales in new markets.
* Coordinate with supply chain and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth logistics, inventory management, and delivery timelines.
Drive e-commerce revenue growth in new markets by creating and optimizing product listings, pricing strategies, and promotions tailored to local audiences.
* Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met for each market expansion.
* Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, customer retention, and lifetime value in new regions.
Manage and optimize logistics, supply chain, and fulfillment strategies for new regions to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, including taxes, duties, and import/export rules.
* Monitor and improve the end-to-end customer experience, from browsing to checkout to post purchase support.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, business development, or market expansion, with a focus on digital sales and growth.
* Proven track record of managing successful e-commerce expansion projects and market entry strategies.
* Strong understanding of global e-commerce trends, customer behavior, and regional business practices.
Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and marketplace integrations (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
* Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and cross-border e-commerce operations.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
* Multilingual skills are a plus, especially for international market expansion.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing global or regional e-commerce operations.
* Familiarity with digital marketing channels (e.g., SEM, social media, email marketing) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
* Experience with localization efforts (e.g., translating content, adapting for cultural differences).
