**Category Lead - Inventory Management**

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Lead - Inventory Management to join our team at Air Arabia. As a Category Lead, you will be responsible for managing the inventory lifecycle, including stock levels and negotiations with suppliers/OEMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversees the entire inventory lifecycle, including stock levels and negotiations with suppliers/OEMs. This includes managing SPC2 and SPC6 items.
  • Procurement: Prepares RFPs, negotiates commercial deals with suppliers/OEMs, and prepares recommendations for award of contracts.
  • Contract Management: Formulates and negotiates third-party engineering contracts in consultation with stakeholders and legal.
  • Inventory Optimization: Identifies and initiates cost improvement projects to optimize total cost of ownership and reduce material and services costs.
  • Project Management: Tracks project costs to meet budget and provides project updates to various stakeholders.
  • Industry Best Practices: Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in inventory management and procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
