We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Key Account Manager/Director to lead our growth efforts in the Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to expand our customer base in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the banking and wealth management landscape, including regulations, technology trends, and challenges faced by financial institutions. They will possess excellent sales skills, with the ability to sell complex software solutions to senior executives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a strategic sales plan to meet revenue goals within the banking and wealth management sectors
  • Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to generate sales leads and opportunities
  • Understanding the unique needs and pain points of clients in the banking and wealth management industry
  • Presenting Avaloq's solutions effectively to clients and offering consultative advice on implementation strategies, integrations, and ROI
  • Maintaining strong relationships with current clients, partners, and industry influencers

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience in the banking, wealth management, or fintech industry. They will possess a strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including regulations, technology trends, and challenges faced by financial institutions.

A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required. MBA or relevant certifications in sales or financial services is a plus. Proficiency in English is essential, with Arabic language being an added advantage.
