Estimator and Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fit Out Estimator to join our team at Caliberly. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Bids and Quotations: Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQs) and quotations for clients, taking into account all relevant project requirements and specifications.
- Cost Estimation and Analysis: Conduct thorough site measurements and cost calculations to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates for fit-out projects.
- Tender Submissions and Liaison: Prepare and submit tender submissions to clients, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Contract Administration: Read and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Quantity Take-Off and Analysis: Provide detailed quantity take-off, analysis, and estimates for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of fit-out works.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and propose cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project, ensuring maximum value for clients.
- Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between subcontractors, design teams, project engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Bid and Proposal Preparation: Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Scope Definition and Risk Management: Determine required but non-indicated scope through analysis of site conditions and contract documents, managing the risk of scope gaps.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with operations teams and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are accurately captured in the estimate.
- Subcontractor Proposal Assessment: Assess subcontractor proposals to ensure scope coverage and manage the risk of scope gaps.
- Estimate Production and Delivery: Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education and Experience: Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work experience.
- Estimation and Costing Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in estimation and costing with an interior fit-out company.
- Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Analytical and extremely detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills and the ability to adjust quickly to changes in work priorities.
- Multi-Tasking and Adaptability: Ability to multitask based on the requirement at hand, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
