Job Description

**Job Title:** Fit Out Estimator - Project Coordinator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fit Out Estimator - Project Coordinator to join our team at Caliberly. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects, as well as coordinating project activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimation and Costing: Prepare detailed estimates and BOQs for fit out projects, including measurement and calculation of materials costs.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including tender submissions, takeoffs, and liaison with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Contract Administration: Read and interpret plans for contract administration, and ensure that all deliverables are completed in accordance with the scope of work.
  • Scope Definition: Define cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project, and determine required but non-indicated scope through analysis of site conditions and contract documents.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with operations team and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate, and communicate effectively with subcontractors, design team, project engineer, and client.
  • Risk Management: Assess subcontractor proposals to ascertain if the scope is covered, and manage the risk of scope gaps.
  • Estimate Production: Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Holder of Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in estimation & costing with an Interior Fit Out company.
  • Skills: Analytical and extremely detail-oriented, excellent time-management skills, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance at our office. We do not offer remote work arrangements for this role.
