Job Summary

Chelsea Plaza Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Guest Check-in/Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of room assignments and key cards.
  2. Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Payment and Credit Card Verification: Inform guests about payment methods and verify their credit card data, ensuring secure and compliant transactions.
  4. Guest Registration: Register guests, collecting necessary information, including contact details and dates of stay, to ensure accurate records and personalized service.
  5. Room Assignment and Welcome: Welcome guests upon arrival, assigning rooms and providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  6. Hotel Information and Services: Provide guests with information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  7. Conflict Resolution: Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  8. Housekeeping Coordination: Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to meet guest needs.
  9. Group Reservations and VIP Services: Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
  10. Upselling and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell additional facilities and services, contributing to revenue growth and guest satisfaction.
  11. Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
