Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cluster Credit Officer to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for managing the overall credit and receivable functions to minimize the risk of losses and late payments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage Credit and Receivables: Oversee the accuracy of all charges and credits to various accounts, ensuring timely posting and minimizing the risk of losses and late payments.
  2. Conduct Credit Checks: Perform thorough credit checks on new credit applicants, making recommendations based on existing credit policies and maintaining detailed records of credit given to customers.
  3. Debtors Management: Be responsible for completing and updating records of debtors, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  4. Account Analysis: Study, analyze, and report on outstanding accounts during credit meetings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Verification and Compliance: Verify that all sales recorded as accounts receivable are supported by sales vouchers, credit card sales vouchers, coupons, and other supporting documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Experience: Having working experience in the same capacity in the hotel industry, preferably with a reputable company like Accor.
  2. Education: Obtaining a relevant education background in Finance, Accounting, or Hotel Management.
  3. Location: Willing to work in Fujairah, UAE.
  4. Skills: Being able to perform both task-oriented and customer service-oriented tasks, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
