Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest check-ins, verifying guest identities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify guest identities and process check-ins, ensuring accurate room assignments and payment processing.
  • Set up and manage guest accounts, including Marriott Rewards information and rate adjustments.
  • Secure payment and verify billing, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Compile and review daily reports, logs, and contingency lists to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges, balancing and dropping receipts as necessary.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in hotel operations software and systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front office or customer service role.
