Job Description

**Job Title:** Executive Culinary Director

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team at MDAR Food Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international and Lebanese cuisine, with a minimum of three years' experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a large production unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the company's quality and consistency standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Implement and maintain HACCP and food safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high-quality food products.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years' experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a large production unit.
  • Strong background in international and Lebanese cuisine.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing culinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time with limited breaks.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures in the kitchen working environment.
  • Ability to visually inspect, taste and smell product to ensure freshness and quality.
