About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in overseeing a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with local labor laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring. Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance and resolution. Foster a positive work environment and address any workplace conflicts or grievances.
  • Performance Management and Development: Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems. Support managers in conducting performance reviews and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees. Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation. Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and leave management.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Two – five years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations.
Working Conditions
  • This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for recruitment or training purposes.
