Cohere is a pioneering AI research company seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to drive growth in the UAE. As our Country Manager, you will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy, building strategic relationships and driving growth.

You will be responsible for driving year-over-year revenue growth and market expansion by developing and executing a go-to-market growth strategy & strategic sales plan for the country. You will assume coordination of our anchor partnership in the country, working alongside our global account team.

Additionally, you will provide sales and operational leadership to Cohere's cross-functional teams, collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.

In this role, you will be pivotal in promoting the company's vision, products, and services as the primary representative of Cohere in the local market. This includes representing at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, and with regulators and government agencies.

Your expertise in AI or a related industry will be highly valuable in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating and closing high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities:
